Saba Imtiaz: Everyday is a winding road..

Yesterday was one of those days when you just don't feel like doing anything at all. I wanted to go to class in my PJs - I felt that bad. (Considering I dress up to the hilt for school, thats a big deal :P) The day passed by in a blur of meetings, phone calls, email conversations that made no sense, writing and rewriting agendas and a ton of incomplete evaluations, topped off by the fact that I had an exam today that I was completely unprepared for.

Came home in an increasingly worsening mood - I just felt so demotivated that I went off to sleep after trying to make sense of my notes and in the midst of filling evaluations.

Woke up and realized had 20000 emails to send. Told myself to relax and all would be good. My exam went pretty well and I spent two straight hours writing emails, completing reports and evaluations and sending everything off. At the end of those two hours I came downstairs from the office and spent the next few hours laughing my head off with Rabia at the kaaayt joke - I laughed so hard my sides hurt. Went to Espresso with Sharmeen and drank heavenly coffee. Came back and met Deej - and laughed so much that I was about to fall down from my chair in the crowded lab. Went to Espresso again with my sister and ate (breakfast, lunch and dinner - all at 7 PM) and came home and finished the blasted SONA report.

The feeling of having completed all my work is just lovely. The next few days are going to be extremely hectic - but I am completely ready for it now.

And in other news - Brodie's in Pakistan and is arriving in Karachi tomorrow! YAY! :)
