I walked into university today; only to see Sharz and Delia walking towards the office, and it turned out Sharz and I were both wearing the same clothes (jeans and a white shirt) except I was carrying a shawl (which hence dissuaded the weird twin effect). The office was full of hysterical AIESECers, with Taha and Haris jumping around, all excited because of the videos they were making for Tori to take with her to the Do It conference in Switzerland. A Pakistani flag (which was made to look like it was moving of its own accord, and also made to look like it was adorning a government office) and a McDonalds Dinosaur toy were used as the main props (that dino is going to have nightmares, I tell you). We spent the day dealing with mini-crises, listening to the SDC OC's plans, finishing up a box of Hershey's Kisses, frantic confusion over the @Pakistan jive steps and Mikaal and Tori both acting like dance directors from a Bollywood film set and consoling Peter (the laptop @Switzerland gifted to @Pakistan at IC), and I came home more wired than if I'd had three straight espressos. Crazy people, these AIESECers are ;)

Combine Chand Raat (the night before Eid when the entire city stays up; roaming the streets, shopping, hanging out with friends, getting mehndi applied on their hands and buying bangles) and AIESEC together - and you have a truly international experience ;) From being told by a woman applying mehndi on my MCP, Tori Anderson's hands that she resembles Ashwarya Rai to having Dodi and Mikaal run out of the mall yelling 'Guess who we just met! Kirmani!' (An AIESEC Lahore member who is originally from Karachi, and is in town for Eid), and being told that they only recognized him by his AIESEC Lahore tshirt :P to meeting the most random people ever.. it was one fun night for sure...=)
